"Ponyo", "Sky Crawlers" Win at 63rd Mainichi Film Awards

The 63rd annual Mainichi Film Awards were announced on Wednesday, and "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea" and "The Sky Crawlers" were among the winners. Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's Ponyo received the Noburou Oofuji Award in honor of Miyazaki's creative expression, while Mamoru Oshii and Production I.G's "Sky Crawlers" won the Animation Film Award.
