A-mei Prepares New Album

Aboriginal Taiwanese pop singer Zhang Hui-mei, better known around the world as A-mei is preparing for the Asian release of her anticipated new album on August 3rd. The album is titled 'Star' and marks the first album on her new three year contract with the EMI record label. Jay Chou has contributed his writing talents to one of the tracks on the album and a duet with 'My Hero' reality show winner Pu Bajia is included on the Mainland China version of the album.
