Andy & Sammi Meet Sichuan Aid Workers

HKPAG representatives including Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng and Joey Yung have arrived in the areas of Sichuan affected by the earthquake earlier this month. The celebrities attended a Buddhist prayer ceremony yesterday at Chengdu's Baoguang Temple to pray for the victims and survivors of the disaster, which has left over 80,000 dead and displaced millions of people.

The ceremony was attended by many of the relief workers as well as distinguished guests representing China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Andy, Sammi and Joey then went on to meet the volunteers, emergency workers and other people who are still working hard to help those affected by the disaster. Meanwhile, other HKPAG members, Gilbert Lam, Joey Meng and Grace Cheung visited some of the injured in a local hospital to bring messages of support and encouragement.
