Coming Soon to CCTV: Mexican Soap Operas

Mexican entertainment conglomerate Televisa is currently working on a large collaboration deal with China's state-owned national television entity CCTV.  The deal would enable Televisa to adapt its competition shows and soap operas to the chinese market.   This partnership allows them to avoid China's strict quotas on foreign media imports.
