Derek Yee teams up with Jackie and Daniel Wu for 'Shinjuku'

Award winning director Derek Yee will collaborate with Jackie Chan for the first time on a new film titled 'the Shinjuku Incident'.  The film will also feature Derek Yee's frequent collaborator Daniel Wu in a major role (the two have worked together on 'One Night in Mongkok', 'Drink, Drank, Drunk' and 2007's 'Protege').  It is reported that Yee will give Jackie a chance to tackle more serious acting roles, rather than the action comedy for which he is famous. Filming is reported to start in November this year (according to Chinese sources).
