Heavy Metal Shakespeare hits Beijing

The Beijing People's Art Theater, working with director Lin Zhaohua have staged an interesting blend of modern and classical -  combining the classical Shakespeare play 'Coriolanus' with the heavy metal rock music of the Chinese metal bands and Miserable Faith and Suffocated.  Coriolanus is set in the Roman Empire period and tells the story of a general who rebels against the Empire.  The famed dramatic actor Pu Cunxin plays Colonius.
