Hokkaido to give letter of appreciation to Chinese film director Feng Xiaogang

Hokkaido has decided to present a certificate of appreciation to
Chinese movie director Feng Xiaogang after a film he shot in the
northernmost Japanese prefecture helped attract Chinese tourists. Yoji Takahara, deputy governor of the prefecture, and the mayors of
Kushiro and Abashiri, where the film “Fei Cheng Wu Rao” (If You Are the
One), was mainly shot, will visit Beijing and Shanghai to present the certificate to Feng and meet local tourism officials
to promote trips to Hokkaido.
