A new joint collaboration has been announced between former Miramax heads the Weinstein Borthers with producer Tony Krantz ('24') and Hong Kong director Andrew Lau ('Infernal Affairs'). The deal will produce 3 English language Hong Kong productions under the banner of a new joint company called Qi. The Weinsteins have formed a $275 million dollar fund to produce Asian films.
