Outside Funding Helping to Develop China's Next Generation

A number of industry heavy weights have recently signed on to several large projects focusing on supporting the film industry in Mainland China.  MySpace China,  Korea's CJ Entertainment and Hong Kong's Media Asia and Emperor Motion Pictures have signed on to a new pact to develop local projects in the Mainland market.  According to Emperor head Albert Yeung,  the plan thus far includes developing five million dollar projects.

A number of other groups have recently launched similar ventures, including Columbia Tri-star working with Stephen Chow's Production company and also Sony.
