Song Hye-kyo at Shanghai Charity Gala

South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo attended a charity gala in Shanghai on the 28 February, 2009. About 10 pop stars were honoured at the 3rd Charity Star Gala. Celebrities who helped in the Sichuan earthquake relief or did outstanding charitable work in 2008 were selected from 100 candidates based on online and SMS votes from the public. Song Hye-kyo was among those who were honoured and received her award from Hong Kong actress Michelle Yeoh. Song Hye-kyo, who has signed a contract with Michelle Yeoh's Stellar Entertainment company also attended the launch ceremony of a "Stamp Album" project which will benefit children in China's Sichuan earthquake region.
