• 55DSL's GUEST ARTIST "TURBOKRAPFEN" IS NOW IN HK...

  CALLING ALL ART FANS AND CREATIVE PEEPS: Pop by the 55DSL TemporART store (Shop 3A, 2-4 Kingston Street, Causeway Bay) this week to check out how Italian artist TURBOKRAPFEN will be “decorating” the pop-up space!
  
  
  Turbokrapfen has just jetted into town from Bassano del Grappa (hometown of 55DSL) to specially redecorate the store in his graphic typographic style. The young up-and-coming artist is best known for his explosive, colourful, hand-crafted illustrative artwork as well as his close collaborative work with The Bloody Beetroots.
  
  
  The FIFTY FIVE DSL TemporART STORE will be open for 2 months only, opening THIS FRIDAY, July 24, until end-September 2009. 
  
  
  
  
  About Turbokrapfen
  Turbokrapfen is a young Italian designer and illustrator. He is known for his artistic designs for 55DSL and has created many graphic works for electro-music acts including The Bloody Beetroots, Steve Aoki, Crookers, Congorock, Dim Mak Records and ESP Records. His bright, lively style is strongly influenced by Pop Art, the Internet and new wave/electro/disco/indie-rock music.
