Life @ Hong Kong 20 Aug - 24 Aug 2007

5 days @ Hong Kong was really interesting, excited, rush & TIRED. However, I will still say 'HONG KONG! I WILL BE BACK'.

This is Hong Kong..

20 AUG 2007

China Airline Flight at 7.50am but delay until 8.30am. First time on China Airlines. Bad impression.

Reached hotel around 2.30pm. Journey started......Near by MTR was Mong Kok station (E2), 10 minutes walks..A very strategic hotel...recommended

1) 星光大道 Star of Avenue

By MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui, 10 minutes walk

2) 金紫荆 Golden Bauhinia Sqaure

By MTR to Wan Chai, More than 30 minutes walk - Maybe we used the long way.

After that, walked around Central & Western District. There is a lot of places that We feel familiar. Maybe watched too much of Hong Kong Drama. This is the first time I walked around this area. I have no chance as riot happen during my last visit Dec 2005. That is why We spend around 2-3 hours here. We pass by Lan Kwai Fong, Queen's Road Central, Chatter Road, Connaught Road, Jackson road........

Lunch + Dinner : Macdonald (HDK 24.80), too hungry, Can't wait anymore

Unexpected : Walked around 女人街 as we stay at Stanford Hotel (10 mins walk from all night market). Still managed to walk for an hour as it is happening. Wondering why there is still a lot of people during this time (estimate time around 10.30pm)

21 August 2007 - 澳門
Today plan - Macau. Ferry time : 9.30am (Take around 45 mins)

1) 大三巴牌坊 - Ruins of St.Paul's

Advice : Don't ever think to walk from Ferry terminal, take taxi please. Will only costs you around HKD25. If you really want to walk, not really far la, may be only 1 hr

Actually is nothing much from Macau. Thing that you shd & must try is Portuguse Tart. 100% recommend this to you. If you didn't try this, you will regret. Rushing back to HK for something most important. Going back to Hong Kong @ 2.00pm.

Reach Hotel at 5pm. Next will be JACKY CHEUNG's CONCERT.

Such a wonderful & Interesting concert. He dance & talk a lots. 3 and the half hour was not enough for him at all. And I know it's impossible for him to present all his song in one night. GOOD SHOW.

22 August 2007 - 大嶼山 (Rainy day)

Rain early in the morning. Sign - Bad luck.
As planned, We went 天壇大佛及寶蓮禪. Long distance from our Hotel. Thus, We had our breakfast and plan to skip lunch.

See what we had for our breakfast. I'm sure can tahan until tonight...

Yummy Wan Ton Mee (HKD18) - Near by hotel (3-5 mins walks)

So call HK teh tarik. This is really nice compared to M'sia Teh Tarik. I like this too.

地鐵東涌站B出口，於東涌市中心轉乘23線巴士前往

MTR to Tung Chung (exit B), Then you have option to take Cable car or bus (HKD30) to Ngong Ping 360.

寶蓮禪寺是大嶼山最受歡迎的旅遊點 , 也是香港的佛教聖地 ，坐落於海拔520米的昂坪平原上 ， 四周風光如畫.

1) We take bus bcoz cable car was closed

2) Can you see what I have above. The statue was blur bcoz of the haze & its rainny days. Nevermind, I will be back. Haha.

Back to Tung Chung (MTR to Tung Chung station) for shopping. A few shops that you should go if you are there - Adidas, Nike & Esprit. It really cheap if you compared to Malaysia. Maybe sales gua, not sure. As I highly recommended, sure I bought something - 2 pieces of pants & 2 piece of shirts.

A famous Noddle cup from HK HKD19 for 4. Er...A but stupid to have noddle cup at HK but at least try (I know M'sia also have but expensive ma here (I checked is around RM3.19).

Have you try Hong Kong Cinema before. Yeah, even is expensive but at least we try. Sound system was not as good as Malaysia but one thing the seat is more comfortable compared to M'sia. Again Rush Hour 3. (Ticket cost around HKD54).

Hurray ...supper time...This was the shop that we choose...We decided to bungkus some of the food back to hotel. More comfortable & with aircond.

Will be very busy today. We planned to go 2 places as today is the last for this trip.

Hong Kong cha chan teng..neayby Mongkok....Is a happening places if compared to Disneyland Hong Kong. You can actually have fun with a few outdoor games i.e Rollor coster, Abyss Turbo Drop and so on...

2) Madame Tassauds Hong Kong
Next trip will be Madame Tassauds....Visit all my friendssss...hehe...Hong Kong Glamour, Nasional & Historical Heroes, Music Icons...etc...

24 August 2007 - Back to KL

Still have some plan even today is the last day...Wake up more earlier compared to past few days.....7am...Went to Wong Tai Sin.

Had KFC as our lunch....Rice + fried chicken...HKD34....

Flight delay again...it suppose to be 6.30pm....but it delay until 9.50pm....Hungry..tired...sleepy....home sick....haha....reach home around 2am.....
