A young award winning serial entrepreneur, Alvin Soe, branded by local media as the youngest producer in Singapore at 23 years old. He graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with Diploma in Moving Images, major in Television and Film Production.
Soe is the Founder and CEO of Supernova Media, one of Singapore’s fastest growing media company to produce and release 2 theatrical feature films “Red Numbers” and “3.50” in 2013. He is also Co-Founder of BelSoe Entertainment Group, a VFX/CGI/Live-Action media company to produce live-action content for international markets. His recent venture is FareSlayer, an online travel and media integrated platform to offer cost competitive airfares.
Soe has won a Merit Award at the Shell LiveWIRE Awards 2011 for entrepreneurship. Supernova Media was showcased in ‘Entrepreneurs in Creative Industries’ during ACE Entrepreneurship Week 2012. A television series he co-wrote “KAMPONG TIES” was nominated Best Screenplay and Best Drama Serial at the Stars Award 2012. Supernova Media was recently awarded a Merit Award at the Asia Pacific Brands Award 2013. He is also a Youth Business Singapore (YBS) Entrepreneur, a programme under The Prince’s Youth Business International, with a global network in 36 countries.
Soe’s active involvement in society includes sharing his knowledge. He was invited as the judge for Drama Category during the Red Cross Youth Art Festival 2010. He functioned as a consultant to participants of the Shell LiveWIRE Business Enterprise Challenge 2012 (Inter-ITE). He was invited to share his knowledge in Temasek Design School’s Annual Design Show 2013. Lately, he was also part of the media industry expert group for Chapman University’s Annual Pitchfest 2013.
