My first experience as a teacher

I used to think that teaching is not something cumbersome
but when the first session came,i felt that sometimes i am
unable to
transfer some abstract concepts because as u know it is something very difficult so i had to use different techniques like miming,giving synonyms & antonyms,using translation to check the understanding of these upper-intermediate EFL learners.
i followed everything written in books (like Brown,Jeremy Harmer's How To Teach English,...)
but actually these books can not simulate a real class situation and its procedures.
i should confess that teaching is the most difficult job in the world,you have to be a great model,creating
intrinsic motivations as well as extrinsic one,trying to remove their bad habits(i mean their mistakes in grammar,pronunciation,...which had been fossilized in their mind)and the most difficult part is that you should be careful of affective filters and create a warm and collaborative atmosphere.............ohh man i need to gain more experience of teaching......
