Bostoe SIU was born in Hong Kong in 1975. He began to learn painting when he was small. After graduation in secondary school, he studied in First Institute Art & Design school. Since 1995, Bostoe has started his career in visual art education. He held art classes in Hong Kong Cultural Centre and was an art tutor in a special school. In 1990s, Bostoe was active in the creative art community in Hong Kong. He organized and joined a variety of cultural activities. These included International Children Painting Competition and International Children Artwork Exhibition in Australia. His students won awards in the activities. In 1999, Bostoe established Bostoe Art Kingdom and registered it as a non-profit making organization. He co-organized drawing classes with with PLK Fong Wong Kam Chuen Primary School. This programme was funded by the Quality Education Foundation. Bostoe studied Chinese painting and Mandarin in Guangzhou Academy in Fine Art. In the 21st century, Bostoe decided to study in France. In 2007, he conducted an art tour in England and had cultural exchange with the Asian and British artists. In 2009, He graduated D.N.A.P. (National Plastic Arts Diploma),Equivalence a bachelor’s degree of fine arts, School Superior of Fine Arts in Marseille, France.

布斯圖Bostoe(原名: 蕭偉傑) 一九七五年生於香港, 自小學習繪畫。中學畢業後, 就讀於大一設計學院。自一九九五年起, 他從事視覺藝術教育工作。曾自辦畫班於香港文化中心及任職特殊學校。九十年代, 他活躍於香港藝壇, 曾組織多個文化活動。其中他曾帶領學生參加國際兒童繪畫比賽、 澳洲國際兒童美術展, 並獲獎項。 在一九九九年, 他成立布斯圖藝術王國及正式社團註冊 。曾與保良局小學合辦美術課程,獲優質教育基金資助。他曾在香港組織過四次師生作品展, 得到多份報章的刊登。 布斯圖曾於廣州美術學院學習中國畫, 面向二千年他留學法國, 學習歐洲文化及研究各國藝壇的發展, 尋求一些新概念與新世代 的藝術教育活動。二零零七年, 他到英國倫敦舉辦藝術導賞團, 與當地華人及英國藝術家作文化交流。二零零八年,他在香港組織藝術工作坊為支持四川震災籌款。二零零九年, 他的攝影作品入選日本大阪MIO PHOTO AWARD, 同年他畢業於法國馬賽高等藝術學院, 獲法國國家造型藝術文憑學士 (DNAP)。
