    Happy Independence Day USA!
    We celebrated with family.  We went to my Aunt & Uncles house where we could enjoy a cook-out and shoot fireworks.

    My Dad and my uncle are dressed for the occasion.

    We had some big ones that went quite high!


    Ok- I got a little nervous when he was out there and the older guys were shooting the big ones


    This is the one he just lit - AWESOME! He said!


    Dang! My Roman Candle is done.

    We had a great time but the neighbors down the way beat us on the pyro-show!  They had a near professional showing!  Lots of really big,  high, loud fireworks!  It was pretty to watch.  But we had a lot of fun doing ours!

    Whoa, I have a hard time watching kids wave sparklers around! I can see why he'd make you nervous being so close to the big fireworks.

    Maybe I'm so leery of fireworks being handled by the average person because in NJ they're illegal.

    Which isn't to say ppl don't get them elsewhere & set them off, but I didn't grow up seeing them handled.

    Looks like you had a great time (as did the rest of the family)!  I have to post up my pics....we actually celebrate on the 3rd of July....the rest of the community deals with the hangovers on the 4th!  haha!
