    I was a senior in high school when I made my trip to DC.  I had to attend a lot of lectures but absolutely loved the monuments and sites I did get to visit.

    Wow!  Tell you daughter that she took some great pics!  I can't believe how cloudy it was, though.  

    The pics taken from the bus?  Anytime I take a pic from a moving vehicle of something I call it a "drive-by shooting"!  haha!

    I visited Wash DC back in the early 1990's.  It was very emotional for me.  I actually cried when I saw the Lincoln Memorial.  (What a wuss!)
