I am not able to vote. I would vote for Obama if I could. The war needs to stop. The war at Iraq and now at Afghanistan is making everybody's lives terrible. I can't imagine how bad America is going to get if McCain win this election. Well, God bless America and God bless my cousin who is a Marine and only 19th.

Watch the Republican National Convention reruns if you guys get a chance. I wasn't too pleased with the way some protestors decided to express themselves though. Made us liberals and activists look bad. But try to ignore that and listen to the speeches. It's amazing how little MCCain said. Or maybe it's just my 'me first' way of thinking that prevents me from seeing why I'm being unpatriotic for voting Obama.

I want to encourage your active support of Obama. John McCain's (age 72) hasty choice for a vice presidential running mate is another example of his poor judgement. Sarah Palin is not only inexperienced she's sarcastic, disrespectful, and hot-headed. Her exploitation of her children for political purposes is outrageous.!

I've had so many friends from outside America echo your sentiment about the importance of this US election to the entire world, and how vital it is that Barack Obama become the next US president. It's awesome to hear that, even though you don't live here, expats like you are fired up about things, seriously concerned about what's going down.
I'm glad you found Bill Clinton's speech a home run. I know I sure did, and I loved Hillary's as well. I really thought she gave those deranged PUMAs the bitchslap they needed. I live in Kansas -- a state about as backwater hick Republican as they come -- and hosted a party to watch Obama's acceptance speech at the DNC that had almost 200 guests. Another party in my town was packed to the gills, as well. People are starting to wake up. Watching the really ugly attacks, the divisiveness, the total lack of reality at the RNC tonight, including Sarah Palin's speech, I was just convinced *that much more* that America is going to see through the condescending bullshit and make the right choice.
