Oh my goodness that's a beautiful scenery there. Flash backs. Forgot which place we went to when rafting.. when I was kid *scratches head* All I remember that place was beautiful. Crowded but at the end enjoyable. Eh! Dan, has it ever happen yet, have you found your perfect spot ?
hey im a junior in highschool in the US and we are reading huck finn. you really read it in fifth grade? cuz that shit is crazy for elementary school. I thought younger kids read tom sawyer instead.
ahh.. i was there a few years back and had a ride on those bamboos. Dirt cool. If i'm not wrong, i think there's 8 turns to that river over there. And yup, wu yi shan is totally awesome. Blown away literally.
and im going to visit jiu zai gou some day, i heard it's one of the finest God made beauty. But first, i've already booked my tickets to Sanya, Hainan Island for a splashing beach trip filled with surfing, rafting and diving. That's life.. once in a while. heh
Meanwhile, Happy birthday (not sure when's yours. but mine's just over.)
I never have a chance to take this kind of bamboo raft ride, since nowadays only ships and boats ride are available. However, I guess it will makes me dizzy and vomit eventually. Haha.
I have a question to ask daniel:
Will you atttend Hu Jin's wedding in Malaysia?
I think it's refreshing to see how you haven't lost the Americanness in you. You still remember book readings from 5th grade! Anyone who knows the adventures or Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer were defintely raised in the States:) Taking a boat down the Yangtze and Yellow River would be breathtaking. Hope to do something like that next summer as my husband and I plan to visit China. Would be waiting to see if you get to do it first.
