身處係第三世界  要設身處地

Close your eyes and imagine that you are now really in the 3^rd world

睇到幾多戰爭  幾多災難發生

我地幾咁安穩但對世界漠不關心

You see so many wars and so many disasters

The place we live is so safe and stable, but we don’t care about the world

數以億計既人每日掙扎求存   

佢地流離失所 食唔飽著唔暖

A million of people are struggling every day,

They are homeless; they don’t have enough food and clothes

相反我地擁有太多 造成浪費更多

貪婪最後既結果  只會變成災禍

Ironically, we have too much and we wasted too much

People are too greedy and they caused so many problems

生於惶恐之中佢地只想活下去

生存未到廿歲性命就被奪去

The victims are scared and they just want to continue their life

So many people died before they turned to 20 years old

點解小小挫折我地就會氣餒

無野會係絕對點解咁快寫下絕句

Why do we become discouraged easily when we face minor difficulties?

Why do we need to end our life so quickly?

太多災難戰爭改變左 佢地一生

傷口太深 留下無不磨滅烙印

The wars and disasters changed so many people’s life

They are badly wounded; the scars leave on their body and heart forever

就算幾多眼淚 都無法洗去記憶

前路點樣去面對  將來 既一片死寂

The memory can’t be forgot no matter how many times they cried

They don’t know how to face the dark future

回憶 只見親人最後埋於瓦礫

痛惜  人既心情根本無法壓抑

In the memory, they see how their family gets trapped in the rubble

Heartbroken, people are with the deepest sadness.

樹欲靜而風不惜  

子欲養而親不在係對現實既痛斥

Why don’t we treat our family well before we lost them?

貧窮  令到佢地無法脫離苦困 

要安穩永遠只有苦等

Poverty makes them struggle

They won’t be able to have a better life forever

唯一技能   就只可以靠拾荒維生

又點會奢望   知識可以改變命運 

The only thing they can do is, being a rag picker

They never expect to have knowledge to change their life

我地有機會  得到教育得到物質 

但我地只會 一飽私慾太過迷失  只諗個人得失

We have chance to be educated, to have a good standard of living

But we get lost because we only think about how to get more money

係天意弄人  定係我地太過殘忍

去睇住咁多無辜既人每日白白犧牲

Is this their faith or we are too cruel

To see so many innocent people die

對生命 真正價值 要有更深入理解

God please have mercy on them because they can’t wait anymore

I want to spend my effort to raise people’s concerns

喚起  無分宗教種族地域界限既心

唔好再等  幫助佢地脫離苦困

Care about the needs no matter we are in the different places, we are different races and we have different religions

Don’t wait any more, help them!
