  Last Monday, the AliveNotDeaders were kind enough to throw a Chinese New Year party for all those without families in Hong Kong.  It was held at Patrick & Stephen's place and the theme of the party was Dumplings!  All shapes and sizes were welcome, but you had to eat what you made...
  
  
  

  1. THE FACTORY
  
  
  
  First case of business was gathering the ELEMENTS:
  
  
  
  
  
  Next, was getting the MANPOWER:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  With all the underpaid/overworked employees and so much powder everywhere, if a cop walked in he would have totally thought we were running a HEROIN OPERATION.
  
  
  
  Just in case, Stephen hid the BRICK.
  
  
  
  
  Not exactly a traditional Dumpling rolling technique...
  
  
  
  
  
  2. THE INTRUDER
  
  
  
  The operation was going along smoothly until suddenly we were interrupted by...
  
  
  
  
  
  ... basically all female workers ceased all functions and immediately succumbed to the little white devil's charming ways.  Productivity was down by 50%.
  
  Damn you and your magic powers, Dog.  Damn you.
  
  
  
  3. FRANKEN-TON
  
  
  
  Deep in the back alleys of the Dumpling World, between noodle carts and rice buckets, there are tales of the one great wonton - the one that will destroy the land and bring indigestion to anyone who eats it.  This mountain of meat and dough was said to only surface once a year, and only under the most exstrenuous circumstances.  And tonight was that night...
  
  
  
  Stitched together from four dough sheets and using three times as much meat, FRANKEN-TON was indeed a worthy advesary.  The super wonton looked up at me menacingly, and I knew that it was up to me to end this once and for all...

  4. BRIDE OF FRANKEN-TON
  
  
  
  Not to be outdone, Min commited to making his OWN monstrosity to rival my precious FRANKEN-TON.  With one glance, though, I knew I was in for some stiff competition...

  5. TECHNICAL SUPPORT
  
  
  
  After stuffing our selves till we were going to burst, it was time to burn off those calories with good old Wii-Fit...

  All in all, the whole experience was very enjoyable and I thank Patrick and Stephen for being such hospitable hosts and to our all-star Dumpling Sweat Shop... we really know how to churn them out!  Happy Chinese New Year!
