DoughBoy started out as the youngest rapper from Golden Triangle Records(Singapore). Before using this moniker, he was known as Galaxy, which is his real name. In Golden Triangle, he recorded for a South-East Asian Hip Hop compilation and also an unreleased solo EP with 2 self-produced tracks.
Moving to Hong Kong, he continued producing beats and rapping. He have worked with local beatboxer, INK on several commercially used tracks including one for RTHK online radio station, TeenMusik.
After being invited to Redang Island to perform for a beach party in 2008, he formed a group, 85-UP-2 with a few local MCs and a producer. The group is gearing up for a mixtape release very soon.
Aside from 85-UP-2, he is producing an album for KZ(from hardcore hk rap group Sangfan) and also tracks for Mr. T.A.K(from hk rap group TooMonkey). He is squeezing out time from his busy schedule to work on a solo project soon.
