Sorry everyone for being practically MIA on AnD, but I've been very busy working on the noir project with LBP, working in general, and finishing up school! Yep yep, I am now an official graduate from the University of IL in Chicago as of last saturday and I feel awesome! I'd post up some pics, but I've been too lazy to upload them =P haha.
Past that, just to update some stuff, I'll be leaving to San Francisco to work with some fellow indie stunt peers of mine known as "The Stunt People". Shawn and I will be filming a fight for our noir project out there and also hanging out with some good buddies of ours. =) We'll be gone from June 5th - June 10th.
I also worked on the fight choreography for my college's adaption of "Hamlet" which you can find here:
It was a modern adaption written and directed by one of the faculty members. He wanted to have more of an Japanese approach to it, thus the minimalist qualities and he also wanted to emphasize more hand to hand combat through martial arts rather than using sword and shield. I trained, choreographed, and rehearsed the actors for a straight month, and I think it came out pretty well! None of them are very physical types, but I brought out some good physicality from them and integrated it into the acting as best as I could, so give them some credit! =)
Other than that, I've been good and continually filming and training. I hope everyone else has been great! I'll update soon from now on. =)
