Yo everyone. Because I've been so damn busy with just episode ONE, and the fact that I've nearly kept just about damn near everyone in the dark, I've decided to throw you all a bone. Somewhat. :D
So first off, I gots some screencaps for you all to see from Episode 1 AND the stuff we shot with Paul and Leo and the Hyphen Crew for Episode 2. I actually have these pics posted on my Myspace, the LBP Myspace (which the link is in my signature), and my Facebook if you'd like to see the full resolution ones, so instead of posting smaller files here, just click on these links:
1. Is an location test for the offices we used for the main villains of the series during their conversation in Episode 1.
2. Is the NEW location we had to move the final fight in Episode 1 to. We originally had a sweet garage (you can see this in our demo reel) but we had to shoot late, long nights and we ended up compromising on this, which is actually a lot better because the whole room is to ourselves for the remainder of the day into night. This is how it looks:
3. Finally, how WILL the fight look? Well I'll give you a sneak peek. We've been doing some rehearsals blocking out bits of the choreo style I'd like to try and so I've compiled them all together from the original garage location to the new boardroom one. Oh, and in the middle of it, I know it is Keith vs. Shawn, but Steven wasn't feeling well that day, so Keith subbed in for him. More or less, this is the choreo of the fight, though of course, much longer and crazier. (This is only a peek, remember?) OH! And also, if your wondering why we used a shin guard for a "gun", its because we actually forgot our prop guns that day. :p
Hope you all enjoy! We're about 90% complete now. We just need to shoot the fight between Steven and Shawn and the ending of course, add some inserts to explain certain scenes in better detail or fix pacing problems, and probably do some quick ADR. Runtime so far in the rough edit? 6:33 without the fight or inserts. Estimated runtime to be about 12-15 min. Hopefully we'll have it done in 2-3 weeks. Till then, be patient folks! We'll be trying our best! Thanks for the support everyone!
