Heidi Mak
Heidi is a tour de force representative of Hong Kong music scene.
She has been seen all over the city profiled in Hong Kong local
television, radio interviews, and headlining concerts and guest in
numerous clubs and party events. She performs original songs, and
cover beloved top 40s and jazz classics, from English to Cantonese.
On December 2nd, she will perform at Speak Up! again and present fresh
new songs and Christmas carols to say "Merry Christmas 2009!"

CASTINGS!
E.V.E.N.T will be casting a bunch of Feature films, Short films, plays for theater and shows in the next year. We are doing an open casting call in the next few weeks. Please make sure you book an audition. More information coming very soon!. In the mean time make sure you have a good head shot, resume and 2 contrasting monologues ready. ACTING CLASSES
Kate Sullivan is currently teaching adult acting classes on a Monday night 730pm-1030pm.The classes have been very successful. She is looking at offering more classes if we get the numbers on different nights. She is covering audition technique, film acting, theater, acting technique, script reading, characterization, show reel, resume, head shots, agents, scene work and monologues. She is also doing one on one 1 hour sessions. These are very effective and you keep a tape of all your work for show reel material. If you are interested in any of the above please email Kate @

- EVENT is the brainchild of co-creators Roger De Leon and Kate Sullivan who have founded a company as an international and creative hub for artists, designers, musicians, dancers and filmmakers to show...EVENT is the brainchild of co-creators Roger De Leon and Kate Sullivan who have founded a company as an international and creative hub for artists, designers, musicians, dancers and filmmakers to showcase a broad spectrum of untapped talent. EVENT strives to bring all types of creative media to the masses in its pure and original form.
Amidst the hustle that makes up Hong Kong, this city, and many like it are at the verge of losing the very artistry and creativity that makes it great. E.V.E.N.T.’s goal is to showcase both international and local artists through all available forms of media, in an attempt to salvage and revitalize all genres of existing and budding talent, and bring this to the masses.
E.V.E.N.T. arranges all aspects of a production from bookings to presentations. Along with showcasing talent, EVENT encourages companies to get involved in the arts and use this to help promote their enterprise. Our expertise spans several industries and caters to corporate, entertainment and personal events. We give businesses, artists and private organizations the opportunity to promote themselves through which ever medium they see fit.
E.V.E.N.T. holds LIVE forums each month called SPEAK UP! that allow creative minds from various backgrounds, to come together to workshop ideas network and perform; all in the search for new and budding talent.
E.V.E.N.T. also holds a Hip Hop showcase in Hong Kong called GROUNDED. This event showcases Hip Hop, past present and future, bringing in DJs from all over the city and abroad to play Old School, Funk, Breaks, Bmore and Underground Hip Hop.
Every few months, E.V.E.N.T. hosts themed events, allowing artists from similar backgrounds to be showcased and grow from each other’s knowledge. These events benefit the artists involved, by allowing them the recognition they deserve.
With the growing number of artists that join our community, E.V.E.N.T. also gives the opportunity to teach their talents through classes and seminars. Production space is available through the E.V.E.N.T. office for artists to arrange group sessions or one on one classes to help others improve or learn new talents. In addition to individual classes, E.V.E.N.T. artists venture into schools to share with students, the tools necessary to be successful in a creative medium. Through performances, practical workshops, individual and group teachings, artists use their expertise and real world experience to show students all the possibilities that lie ahead of them.
Serving as an artist’s agency, E.V.E.N.T. gives representation to those in the arts scene as well as allows companies searching for talent an extensive database to find international and local acts.
E.V.E.N.T. engages audiences, stimulates new ideas and enriches the ‘art culture’ within the community. Event will continue to grow and work close with artists, stimulating minds and embracing visions.
