So I’ve been working in K-town for a few weeks now and on my commute in the mornings, I’ll occasionally stop at the light near the Aroma Center where there’s an electronic billboard that streams commercials and such. Every time I’ve stopped and looked at the billboard, I’ve seen some sort of BoA ad…
So I just made the connection after browsing AngryAsianMan.com and seeing this vid:

Ah, ok, so BoA (who has been referred to as the “Korean Britney Spears”) will be releasing an English album next year. The vid above is for “Eat You Up”– a single off her upcoming album.
Hmm… Coco Lee… Utada Hikaru… Rain… Se7en… BoA? There’s def a trend of Asian artists (popular in their home countries) trying to crossover to the American audience. I’m sure someone is bound to make it though… FR*A?
