Hot or Cold? Youtube Live

I’ve been waiting for this and finally saw the clips.  Really wanted to see it live, but unfortunately got caught up in a whirlwind of work.

YOUTUBE LIVE>> Love the idea.  So I checked out several of the clips.  After seeing a handful of clips I have mixed reactions.  We have this amazing new technology and media source to feed ourselves revolutionary forms of expressions and communication, yet the youtube live show is put together in such a traditional old way.  Sure they plugged in youtube “stars” but why do the show itself like the Oscars, or an MTV award show?  I feel like with just a little bit of brain storming they could’ve come up with something truly original.

Just wanted to see if anyone else had any thoughts…???
