I got an email about a new site and and the descrīption had me curios-

“Loudvine.com was started for a very simple reason. OK, three reasons:

Discovering new music and artists
Discovering hard to find gigs around town
Discovering new friends, through great music”

Now if you’ve ever been in a band, you know this is good. Once you register, you have access to an incredible LA directory. That awesome, hole in the wall, genuine music lover, hang out venue that you don’t know about? Yep, it’s listed there. Amongst other things the site also has a list of all current/upcoming gigs in the area. It’s built like a social networking site so there’s plenty of opps to meet other bands and plan a show together.
