  • a film expo..

    oct 13 is canada's thanksgiving day..having known weeks ago that i'd be off that day, i thought about where could i possible spend it. i heard about a formal luncheon/film expo for singles members of our church but i said "nah!!" never been fond of attending such activities cause most people who usually go there were just attending for the obvious reason..do i have to spell it out??

    but then again, everytime i pass by our bulletin board, i'm getting curious of the posters of that film expo..i was getting interested bit by bit everytime i pass by it but my next problem is, i don't know anyone else who's gonna be attending it & as i was thinking about it - - if i'd attend - - i might end up looking like an idiot in one corner while everybody has their own group..plus, it's going to be held in mississauga & how was i suppose to know how to get there??!!

    yeah!!i have so many excuses but then came my conscience - actually it was marianne  - who said "you don't know anyone yet but that's actually the main point of the get-together - - to meet new people"..i know i know!i was just making a fuzz out of it.. then came anne, who turned out to be the organizer of the event, the only person i recognize there said they'll provide transpo..so all problems solved & to make the story short, i signed in...

    i started that day with a cup of hot coffee & a bagel with cream cheese..

    i really needed caffeine that day cause i slept at 2am..much as i wanted to sleep early, there's so much to do at my friend's place - the last was watch j.lo's "angel's eyes"..i woke up before 8am cause there's a baccalaureate mass before the luncheon/film expo..it was an inspiring one..

    my ticket..haha!ok fine!i just displayed my name..

    i hitched at anne's car, where i met ivy & haidee..we got there early..or make that "we have to get there early" cause anne & ivy were in-charge of the activity...leaving haidee & me nothing else to do, we started taking pictures..

    i wonder who put this id on her..saw it when we arrived

    this wasn't artistically captured  but it's a yummy cheese cake

    helped a bit in cleaning up after the show..& brought home souvenirs..now displayed in my room
