roger that. i kinda know what you mean, well, what i mean is that i sometimes have to think about 'business' or 'playing/training/hanging out with dogs'..... the magic IS when one finds work as a passion, and hence, it aint work!

Oh, and not all business(wo)men are evil :D

I sit on the other side of the fence as a "businesswoman" but honestly, don't you think there's an art to the business itself? Without the business side working with the art side, the art itself has difficult time reaching the rest of the world.

I consider myself first and foremost an artist, secondly a businesswoman. But because I don't believe in my art as much as someone else's, I'd rather support that person's art through my own abilities, if that makes any sense.

Art and its production is a process that involves more than just the artist these days.

So don't give yourself too much heat for considering the business side -- whether you're supporting the business end or the art end, you're still doing it TOGETHER. :)

its good to say that you can do what you what to do.  and you are lucky.  not many of us out here can have the opportunity to do what we want to do.  and of course, whatever you do, remember there this chinese phrase that say " think thrice between you take action", it would definetly sad to say "i'm sorry" or "i regreted" later.  anyway from what you said, i think you are happy with your decision.  go for it.
