    have been reading a lot of previous researches about colors... color emotion, color harmony...
    i'm still not sure if i should dig into this area...
    in search of a new inspiration/direction...

    i need a trip to freshen up myself.

    color harmony is the perception of a comfortable matching of colors around the color wheel. It's very psychological as ppl with different background may have different preferences.

    From the photo, it looks like you are reading scientific studies of color.  Ugh!  Maybe some readings in esthetics to lighten things us? :-0  I think I'd rather just look at a lot of color and experience the effect of color on me, the viewer.  There are some great Mark Rothko and other color field artists you can turn to for some inspiration.  I think Kandinsky, in his writings on the spiritual in art, may talk about color.  I think the impressionists and pointiellests also talked about color.  You see how it can go on and on.  

    I wonder if we all see color the same way?  My dad was color blind in the red range, so we know he saw colors differently from the norm.  He painted landscapes and the colors were sometimes quite strangely pushed into the blue-yellow spectrum.  Just something to ponder as you think about color.
