    Our plan was to move down south to Italy after Germany trip. We decided to spend a day in Zurich in Switzerland on the way down. The city was very clean and beautiful by the lake. We wished to spend more time there since we saw many interesting sites to visit there. We hopped into this church by the lake, and we had an amazing experince. All of the sudden, people who we thought just another young tourist group started to sing inside of the church while we were praying. Their voices were so amazing and gave us such a wonderful feeling to begin our journey.

    Hi, Haruka Ashida Ostley.

    I wish I could have the permission to introduce my screenplay. Is about The Brazilian backcountry area (or third world), place where drought and starvation determine people’s destiny: it is to suffer or to die.

    The screenplay uses parts of poetry, letters, photographs, stop-motion animation and interviews. All these elements work together to enrich the narrative and the characters. The actresses’ bodies are also used as a mean of expression.

    My goal was: strong female characters/scenes and excellent narrative. If you give me a chance (Read the first six pages. you'll like it).

    Forgive my poor english, but the screenplay was translated (portuguese - english) by an excellent professional.
