INTERCONNECTED: One BIG-ASS CIRCLE

working my ass off lately, been doing my thesis for ethical and sustainable environmental politics for my grad school paper...
anyways, I noticed that not much has changed since the '70's regarding the global environmental & political movement... and it saddens me... I mean, what kinda place would we all like to live in 25 years from now??? I read a quote from a Spiritual Leader of the Western Shoshone Nation, and in a nutshell, he tells us HOW IT IS...."We've got only one planet to take care of, one planet floating out here in the air...We've only got one air that we breathe: we all breathe the same air all around this globe. In other words, everything is the same. There's not difference in the air over here and the air over there. There's not difference in the water, there's not difference anywhere for anything on Mother Earth."~Corbin HarneyWhen I chose environmental science, I didn't have a big plan to SAVE THE EARTH, or even to really make a difference. But as I study more and more, and read the impacts of how our society around the world ignores warnings from Mother Earth herself, it causes great concern for me. So, for me, a lesson was learned...and it is:If you're willing to fight, willing to accept your struggle, then you can make a difference.I believe it! : )
