  Hong Kong, March 4, 2009: The organisers of the ISHK film festival today announced the inclusion of Lorna Tee, General Manager of Irresistable Films, to the panel of experts at next week's independent film panel discussion at California, in Lan Kwai Fong.
  
  Lorna will join Weinstein Co. producer Bey Logan, Wushu director, Anthony Szeto, and Lloyd Chao, business director at Shaw Studios.
  
  The panel will discuss the state of independent film making in Hong Kong, the difficulties of attracting financing for projects and other film making issues confronting new and established independents.
  
  Before joining the Irresistable team, Lorna previously she worked at Focus Films where she was the senior manager for marketing and distribution. Amongst her film credits as a producer are "The Beautiful Washing Machine", "The Shoe Fairy", "I"ll Call You", "Rain Dogs", "Crazy Stone", "Love Story", "Before We Fall In Love Again" and "My Mother is a Bellydancer". She was also the Business Development Manager for Asia for Variety and was responsible in the growth of new business, expanding the client base and establishing the brand name in the region. In her past life, she worked as a theatre practitioner and arts activist in Malaysia. Currently, she is working on Ho Yuhang's "At The End Of Daybreak", produced under the banner of their production company, Paperheart Limited. She is also on the board of advisors for Cinemart, the oldest and one of the most prestigious co-production market internationally taking place during the International Film Festival of Rotterdam. In addition, she is the Creative Consultant for the Asian Film Awards and an advisor to the Jakarta International Film Festival.
  
  The panel discussion is the perfect opportunity to meet these established filmmakers and to ask their views.
  
  Submissions for the I Shot Hong Kong Film Festival were launched in January and close at the end of April. The festival will be held in June.
