    hey gang,

    i blogged a couple of months ago about my short 'The Last Vacation'.  although it did not get enough votes to be shown on Channel 13, it was asked to be part of their Reel New York Film Festival, so it did end up playing! i didn't get to see it because i was at a wedding, but i just got a copy of it yesterday. 

    i remember the day when i went in for the interview.  i was on a shoot all day - tired and dirty.  had to come in straight from work late that night for the interview, hence the tired look (or maybe i just look like that everyday).

    anyway, here is a clip of me introducing the piece with the film to follow.

    Congrats Jae-Ho!  You did a fine job with this film.  I'm sure your Mom is very proud of you.  It was very touching when they are talking by the window at the end.  As someone who was also raised by a single parent, I can feel where you're coming from. By the way, we should all look as tired and dirty as you :P

    congrats, glad it got played on PBS.  Sure I will see more and more of your work shown.  Keep it up and hope some will make it over here in Asia too.

    Oh, and duh, I almost forgot. Great job on The Last Vacation. It's a diffucult subject and you handled it with grace and subtlety.

    Like the others, you do not look tired or dirty at all. Because I'm white with some olive skin tone, I have dark circles under my eyes taht get more pronounced when I'm tired. But you don't look tired at all! Interestingly, Sung Kang didn't look bad on one hour of sleep when I met him in NY last October. You guys are lucky : )

    What kind of work do you do? I am looking for a job in advertising or PR so I can use some of my writing skills.

    Agree with the others, you don't look tired at all!

    I really appreciate 'The Last Vacation', beautiful cinematography in it aswell.

    um, I just realised bastard in the US might be more literal

    in NZ and Aus it is not usually literal but is a common teasing word like tosser, git etc between friends
