It's the first time in my life to touch snow. I mean really soft, fresh snow. The last time I did was in Korea when I was 14 years old for skiing, and they weren't as good condition as this one.
It's also the first time, in fact, to see snow. I mean snowing. White particles falling from the sky, falling onto your head. You can literally eat them if you lift your head up with your mouth open.
I was at Niigata (新潟), Naeba (苗場) for skii with Mio, her sister Maki and her Fiance Ryota kun, as well as Taiga kun. Immediately I was thrilled upon arriving.

    Lots of snow!!

Continuation from the previous posts' video, I was literally snow-swimming

It was a minor blizzard on the first day I arrived. Pretty awesome for a first timer like me. They had bulldozers all over the place to clean off the snows.

    I was freezing.

And look at how deep that snow got?

    This deep!!

I was literally playing in the snow all evening

And definitely eating lots of snow from falling :)

Here's Maki and Ryota, best companion.

And so the first day of skiing was initially a bright sky day.

Turn out to be another snowstorm again!

Looking good eh? I went skiing once in Korea, for half a day, when I was 14 years old. And I have no problem balancing. So I thought I wouldn't have any problem one my first day here. Turn out to be a disaster.
Here's the highlight of the first day!

Like I said, its a disaster. I struggled with making a turn the entire day and yes! I succeeded in the 2nd day!
2nd day was pretty good for me. Clear weather, not so cold, and lots of skiing action.

The best video of my skiing journey!

I got so tired in the end because the skii boots was too tight and seriously, my shin hurts.

And nothing beats a good dinner, Onsen and a nice massage at the end of the day!

Some food highlights of Niigata. Yakisoba bread??

Oh this is heavenly. half-burnt crabmeat sushi.

    And yes I love Japan!!
