    Just got back from a truly refreshing two week trip to New Zealand to see some good friends get married. A couple of days in Auckland, a couple of days further north staying at a vineyard and the rest of the time chilling at their beach house (or "bach" as the Kiwi's call it) in a truly stunning part of the North Island, Ocean Beach.

    We swam, we ate, we surfed, we drank, we barbecued, we chilled.. Repeat. And repeat... We caught Red Snapper for dinner, dived for scallops, had oysters straight off the rocks for breakfast and picked mussels for lunch. And somehow, I managed to sunburn the inside of my lip...

    Great country, great people, great trip. Good to back though and ready to take whatever the year might throw at me.. Bring it on!

    Thx for the kind comments. All these shots are done on 3 different cameras - the iPhone (if that counts) and a waterproof Olympus snappy cam (operated by me) and a serious Nikon pro rig with  enormo lens operated by my buddy Luke... Not hard to see which is which...
