  • Old Dogs & New Tricks

    A week or so ago I "celebrated" my thirtsomethingcoughcough birthday and being a very spoilt and lucky boy, Mrs FC whisked me off to Phuket for a surprise week's vacation... In between a lot of eating, drinking, sleeping and messing about with baby TFC in the ocean,  I also got a day at the Phuket cable park. It was my first time wakeskating behind a cable rather than a boat, and the first time I'd had some proper obstacles to hit...

    The result was a 2 cm cut on my head and a bruise the size of a melon on my arse. But by the end of the day, I'd nailed it. And here's one of the sequences taken by Mrs FC from the other side of the park..

    Which just goes to prove that in fact you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

    oh my god, I like wakeboarding too but I suck at it, lol
