Meeting Quinn Johnson

I was on sick leave on Monday, and I was kinda struggling thru' my workday on Tuesday 'cos I was drowsy as heck from my meds... today was better tho, but my throat is still a bit bad and I was kinda in a bit of a strange mood too, feeling a bit confused for no apparent reason, I'd like to think that it might be my meds acting up on me again... haha! whatever.

Anyways, it's been some time since I last blogged, so I thought I'd better say something today... I do have some blogs that are in my "drafts" folder right now, still in the works kind of thing... been delayin' them 'cos I wasn't feeling well the past few days... hope to get them out really soon... sorry for the delay, folks... my sincere apologies.

So hmmm, what to talk about here??

Well, I met Quinn Johnson on New Year's Eve... got off work earlier than usual that day and didn't really have much to do... in fact, I was about to head home to rest up a bit, before heading out for the 2 New Year's Eve parties I'd been invited to this year.

Just as I'm waiting at the bus-stop for my bus to come, Quinn contacts me, so I met him for a rather late lunch, or perhaps it ought to be high tea... haha!

Guess what he was wearing??

Nope, not this!

Yeah, now that's more like it! :-)

That's right, he was wearing his $500/Fan t-shirt from AnD and jeans... lookin' very cool indeed... he was fresh from the gym... and having finished work, I was in a suit... so it was kind of a weird match there - corporate vs casual... LOL! :-p

(sorry, I don't have any pics of my own from our meeting, 'cos I don't usually carry a digicam around with me, so I had to borrow a pic or two from Henry's blog... thanks to Henry for very kindly allowing me to use these pics... maybe I might get some pics of my own another time, eh... but let's get back to Quinn now! haha!)

Quinn wanted to shop a little, so I brought him to a few places... then we had drinks, and then a light meal at one of my regular cafe places. Coincidentally, I lost my appetite again... maybe it has something to do with hanging out with all these pretty-lookin' men from AnD, I dunno... haha! So yeah, I wasn't able to finish my Ham & Cheese Foccacio sandwich... someone got to doggy-bag it home though... **winks**... so it wasn't wasted, it found itself a home to go back to... haha! :-)

After that, I had to head home to get changed for those 2 New Year's Eve parties that I was supposed to attend... I would've brought Quinn with me, but he already had other plans.

One of the parties I was invited to was a costume party at a friend's place, he's a Star Wars pal of mine and a member of the 501st Legion Singapore Garrison... the other party is my cousin's usual yearly New Year's Eve party, which I hardly ever miss, 'cos my cousins really know how to throw a great party!

I was at my friend's place till 11.00pm, then headed off to my cousin's place and partied there till past 4.00am... incredible! :-)

I was pretty exhausted, like partied out, dude... but it was all good fun... I only woke up at like 3.00pm on New Year's Day... haha!

I was back to work on 2 Jan, then the weekend came around.

I had a nice lazy Saturday, but by Sunday it kinda got a bit boring... so I went out to pick up the latest Wang Lee Hom CD album "Xin Tiao" (aka "Heartbeat") that I had pre-ordered from HMV at Citilink mall... then spent Sunday night out, having dinner and enjoying a movie with a friend... he showed up in this...

Anyways, enough of all this.

But oh yeah, before I sign off on this blog... Quinn, this is the final pic that was used in the Singapore Tourism Board website for the Formula 1 Singapore GP event back in Sep 2008... thought you might like to see it, dude! So what do u think of it?? Came out lookin' quite alright, methinks! :-)

Alrighty, that's all I got for this particular blog... will go work on some of the others now... hope to clear all my 2008 drafts by Chinese New Year... then it will be out with the old and in with the new!
