Sniffles and Shopping Spree

Just when I thought I was in recovery mode, I get hit with the sniffles, and for some reason, I've been sneezing all day... dunno if it's just something in the air or if I might be coming down with something else... sheesh.

In any case, I went on a shopping spree this weekend, and picked up some DVDs and CDs... among the CDs, I finally got the "Mars" soundtrack (which had songs sung by Vic Chou and Barbie Hsu, among others), David Tao's "Beautiful" album and Wang Lee Hom's "Heroes Of Earth" album (not the concert one, the studio recorded one)... I also got 2 Evanescence albums, "Fallen" and "The Open Door", and I've been listening to the "Fallen" album repeatedly, just letting it play over and over again on my laptop.

My favourite songs on the "Fallen" album are "Going Under", "Bring Me To Life", "My Immortal" and "Taking Over Me"... but I still say "Bring Me To Life" tops them all! :-)

As for "The Open Door", I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but already, my favourites on this album include "Sweet Sacrifice", "Lithium" and "All That I'm Living For".

I haven't listened to Wang Lee Hom's "Heroes Of Earth" album yet, only watched the bonus DVD that came with it... the DVD includes 8 music videos, and my favourite videos were "Kiss Goodbye" and "Wan Mei De Hu Dong".

I also got a bunch of DVDs... among them, the 2-disc special edition of "The Lost Boys", the 2-disc special edition of "Memoirs Of A Geisha", the widescreen special edition of "Underworld Evolution", "The Leap Years" (starring Wong Li-Lin, Joan Chen, among others), "Grey's Anatomy Season 1" boxset, "Wish To See You Again" boxset (starring Kingone, Vic Chou, Ken Chu and Van Ness Wu, among others), and some Korean drama boxsets ("Fashion 70s" starring Joo Jin Mo, "Queen Of The Game" starring Joo Jin Mo, and "A Love To Kill" starring Rain)... do u sense that I enjoy watching special edition DVDs and boxsets? *winks*

Wow, I'm gonna take quite some time to actually watch everything I got! But what the heck, I haven't shopped for CDs and DVDs for quite some time now, so I was kinda catching up on everything I wanted to get, but didn't get before.

Oh, and to top it all off, I get a phone call Sunday night, and it's one of my exes... I haven't spoken to him in some time, and I actually didn't even want to take the call, but I'm glad that I did, because we ended up having a good chat on the phone. I'm usually not much of a phone conversationalist and won't chat for long on the phone, unless the conversation is really good, and I must say that this one was good... I may be seeing him next weekend... maybe might go watch "Red Cliff" or the latest Mummy movie with him... we'll see how it goes, just play it by ear.

A real person, a woman of substance, a loyal friend, a hopeless romantic, articulate, intelligent, genuine, approachable, friendly, warm, easy to get along with, fun-loving, loves to laugh, loves to party and have a good time, enjoys spending time with friends and loved ones, relishes good conversations, enjoys Japanese and Italian food, definitely a coffee person, patient & understanding, passionate yet calm, with a wicked sense of humour when the fancy strikes me, a traveller, a dreamer, a lifelong learner, a free spirit, a person who admires real talent, is addicted to concerts and movie premieres, hates being mistaken for a doormat, and loves to be lookin' good n feelin' great! :)

I'm a Nonya (Peranakan lady) with a mixture of Hakka and Peranakan Teochew on my Dad's side of the family, and Peranakan Hokkiens on my Mom's side of the family, and I'm proud of my rather unique heritage.

I've been told that my talents lie in writing, music & interpersonal relations... I can get along with most people, and my friends have always been an eclectic mix of folks... I believe that it is key to have respect for others, and to be mindful of yourself.

Being born in the Year Of The Rabbit, I like harmony, living in harmony with others, and being in harmonious situations.

But also being a Leo, it doesn't mean that I don't have fangs and claws.
