  Eddie, founder of T-World Magazine (Australia), who appropriately calls himself a t-shirt freak, paid a visit to Kallusive & Co. here in L.A. We apologized for the heatwave this past weekend upon their arrival, but to our surprise they were lovin' the hot weather. The polluted air, traffic and the need to show ID everywhere was something new for them, but we accomplished our mission which was to get them to chill the way we do and throw up their L.A. signs (yes, it was necessary). From filet mignon dinners in Beverly Hills to heaping bowls of ramen in Little Tokyo, Pinkberry and Canter's, I think we've got most of it covered in one weekend.
  
  The menus at the Standard downtown are always entertaining. And the mojitos are the best in town.

  I found out that my L.A. sign was not nearly as cool as their kangaroo one! I have a picture or video of that somewhere around here... maybe in the next post.

  I want to thank our guests for clearing up a lot of things about Australia that we didn't know before. For one thing, crikey is not a hot word and Steve Irwin (RIP) was way more popular here than there. "She'll be right!" is the phrase... compare it to "It's all good" and "No worries" etc. etc.
