At first she did so people would prononce her name more correctly (chinese people have difficulty prononcing her name) then she discovered it had a hidden meaning! LA is THE in french, which is also reflecteing her native birth and french culture. CHI is in chinese the circulating energy in all life ,it also represent Asia where she chose to lives and was able to express herself freely working with natural flow of Chi energy of earth and universe. CHE in portugese, spanish means friend of. Funny since she has portugese/spanish family far origins. so translated LA.CHI.CHE would means The friend of CHI energy! which happen to be quite true since it is been her study for many years through hollistic practice and metaphysic study.
