  so i'm done with big shows for the year, now doing two small ones. the first (in order of performance date) is titled as above, and it's a very small evening of songs from shows where i have had a hand in some way creating the music. we've put together eleven songs in all, and i'm really thrilled by the way rehearsals are going!

   i'm getting to work with people i have always wanted to work with before, the amazingly talented and ridiculously prolific bang wenfu, whom i have collaborated in musicals with before, but always as the director to composer/arranger. this time i actually get to sing under his direction for a change!

  

  there is the truly lovely and wonderfully giving shimona kee, also an aNd official artist, whose voice and music is to die for. i worked with shimona years ago producing a huge new year's eve show featuring her, and i have always wanted to sing with her, and now i will! check out her page!

  

  there is sara wee, one of the most sought after (and busiest) musicians in singapore, who gigs like bloody everywhere, everyday! i haven't managed to get her into aNd yet guys, but she's so busy, she don't even do email! she's a friggin' youtube monster though, so look her up there! i am so honoured she's doing this with me!

  and pamela song, so aptly named because the girl has an amazing voice. she was in the musical i wrote and directed a couple of years ago, which patrick saw. fresh, talented, and such a delight to have on the team. how the hell i ended up sandwiched between three beautiful girls is beyond me, but i ain't complaining!

  the event is 27th november at vue privee, a new gallery in singapore. it's by invitation only, so i'm afraid i can't sell you guys tickets, but if demand's good, maybe we'll take it public one day!
