So my mom flew to SC a few weeks back to see my grandma because she was getting sick. Turns out she might pass anytime soon so I had to fly out too. First, I missed my flight be a couple minutes so they changed my flight which ways two hours away, so I just chilled at the airport for awhile. Second, that flight was cancelled due to maintainence or something. And the next flight wasn't til next morning. Since I had no way back home they offered a free hotel room for me...sweet. I went back to the airport the next day and I wait 20 minutes over the boarding time at the gate. I didn't see any workers at the desk and was wondering what was going. It wasn't until I heard on the pager that the flight was at another gate. All I heard was "Final boarding call for flight 2779 to Texas", so I ran about 5 minutes straight to the gate. I made it just in time. I told them that they gave me the wrong gate number and they apologize of course.
Anyways, 5 hours later, here I am. In SC with the rest of the family. We're all here just kinda waiting on my grandma. The doc says it could be any day now that she passes. And this morning, she almost did. Her heart stopped pumping for a few minutes and she wasn't getting enough blood. But luckily, it started kickin again and she was ok. It's scary because, she doesn't look horrible at all, but her heart can stop just like that with no signs leading up to it. I only hope that if she does go, I want her to go with no worries and no pain.
