  I just received news right now that my grandmother has passed away.  I never thought that someone would call me early in the morning and tell me a family member has died.  Almost feels like a movie.  I may have to fly back to S Carolina, but my pockets are too light.  I had a feeling that when I said goodbye to her before I left for Cali that it was the last time I was gonna see her.  My grandma took care of me since I was a baby til I was about 7, and I never even had a chance to look after her much and now she's gone.  She is the first close family member that I had ever lost and even though, I never saw her much, I already miss her.  She said her goodbyes and passed peacefully in her sleep.  There isn't a better way for her to go.  This was her a week ago.
  
  And this is her just last night.
  
  No news yet of when her memorial and funeral will be, but I will try my best to collect every scrap of change so I can fly back out there. 
  
  I love you grandma.  May you rest in peace.
