I was on my way back from having some delicious Korean BBQ with my
masters and other instructors from my TKD school. I pull up to a red
light and BAM! A car hits me from behind. The funny thing was, when I
heard the car hit my bike, I first thought in my head, "what the hell
sound was that?". But as soon as that thought cleared my head, I
realized in was already in mid-air. Luckily, I've practiced the dive
roll enough to where it becomes a natural reflex. So that's what I did,
and it saved my butt. I finished the dive roll, stood up, and went to
sit down on the side walk. That car that hit me backed up so I assumed
the dude was gonna pull over and see if I was over. But I was wrong, bastard was backing up so he could take off. I had two witnesses, one
which stayed behind to look after me and another who took off in his car
chasing the other one down. How cool is that? A stranger chasing
someone else for another stranger. The sheriff, ambulance, and fire
truck came to check up on me but I said I was good, just a few small
injuries here and there. Although I am limping, I can't raise my right
arm, and I may have refractured my left wrist from when I was a kid.
Anyways, I'm good everybody, I just wanted to share my experience.
Peace!
Awww... :( You poor dear.
So did the guy who went after the car who hit you catch up to 'em?
I'm glad yer OK. One more good reason to be a stuntman, eh? Take care and let those owies heal!
To the dirt bag who hit you, an Irish curse:
May the itch settle in his crotch and he have no nails to scratch with.
