  • Two New Shorts

    Man I suck at this blogging stuff haha.  I need to post here more often.  Anyways, I'm at the end of the spring semester and I finished shooting all three shorts for my class.  Only two are available to watch right now as the final one is being edited.  But just from watching the clips, I'm not even sure if I wanna put it up =/.  I put my stunt guys and actors thru hell just so I can get a good grade in class.  Hopefully, it'll pay off sooner or later.  Alright, enough with the reading....enjoy my latest two shorts.

    OOooooo....first time I've seen "Cowboy."  Very good!  My favorite part was seeing Tommy totally taken out by Robbie!  Ha ha!!!

    Love the "Fighting Spirit" film...watched that again!

    Do you have to get any special permission to use music?  Just wondering....those YouTube music cops can rob sound off the best vids!

    ...and yeah, I did note the six then reload. ::thumbs up:: :) Dunno HOW many films I've seen where they biffed that.

    You are blessed with quite a cast of (natural) characters to call on for you class project! :)

    To Brujita:  Thanks, I can only play a bad guy.  I don't have the face of a good guy.

    To Alan:  Thanks very much.  I'm only sticking to martial arts action and my instructor was happy with that.  I still I could have done better.  Some of the shooting wasn't planned out at all.

    To Miss Scarlett:  My actor kept taking out the rounds and forget to put them back in xD hahah.  The last shoot out, he did reload tho.  I made sure he didn't shoot over 6 times without reloading or else it wouldn't make sense.  But thanks for the critique, there are no excuses for messing up =P hehe.

    Nice work Malay!  What's in store for you next semester?

    I've seen the same 4 or 5 guys die or get the crap beat out of them in more vid clips... =O =D

    Wow! Cowboy Robbie is amazing. Shot all those people without loading his revolver... (Sorry. I notice details. Fatal flaw. There are several shots where you can see there's nothing in the chamber of the revolver... ;P)

    Great job, Malay! Excellent work. I'm actually impressed with the fact your film production course is supportive with the sort of short film projects you have come up with (action/martial arts genre) which is a great thing! Nice to see the 'Warehouse' coming into use in "Cowboy". Loved the action choreography in "Fighting Spirit", dude. :)
