當離開各自的樂隊後，Joe Wu (吉他手)，Pakto Luk（鼓手）及 Danny Cheng（低音吉他手）於2006年1月成立了"門生"。初時他們急需多一位吉他手，於是透過朋友的介紹，他們認識了 Billy Chan。爲了讓"門生"成爲完整的樂隊，Joe 邀請了他的好友 Benny Cheng 加盟"門生"成爲主音。
透過沉重有力的樂段與感性柔和的旋律，"門生"創造了屬於他們的獨特聲音。歌詞的字裏行間表達了他們對生活及社會問題的態度，表明自身的立場之餘，更旨在為觀衆帶來希望。
Mensheng was formed in January 2006, by Joe Wu (guitar), Pakto Luk (drums) and Danny Cheng (bass) after the break-up of their previous band. In search of an additional guitarist, they met Billy Chan through seeking help from their friends. To complete the line up, Joe approached his long time friend Benny Cheng to join the band as the vocal.
Mensheng blends heavy riffs with emotional melodies to create their unique sound. With lyrics that focus mainly on life and social issues, they try to be honest yet giving hope to their audience.
