Red is certainly apt when associated with Md Ridzwan Bin Md Zin, also widely recognised as 'Mister Zinky', in the local Hip-hop arena for almost 5 years now. 2004 was the turning point for him as he was intrigued by the sounds and approach to musical expressions of this popular urban youth "borrowed culture". He went on to learn the fundamentals of Hip-hop, specifically music production, independently and taking close directions from Don M, Gniuz, Fuzzy jay and to all the people from RevoluteNation/TheFoundation. He also recognizes 'Too Phat'(Malaysia) as one of his idols that motivates him to be involved in Hip-hop.
Subsequently, 'Mister Zinky' co-founded and formed a Rap group,'Da T-Squad' since 2004. He did not stop there. Clearly, this was not just a fleeting interest of a teenager. 'Madstyle Recordz' was established later which is in sync with his aspirations to be a successful music producer and sound engineer while, further honing his musical abilities.Like the fiery characteristics linked with the shade of red, this impassioned young man would certainly be the flaming ray of the local Hip-hop scene in the near future.
