One of my favorite things in life is being able to admire other artist's work. This summer I had the privilege of revisiting a sacred indian reservation tucked away in the desert for Burning Man Festival.
In the spirit and words of Henry David Thoreau, "Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake."
Do you see it? A helix of sand.
Suggesting a future.
A yet not seen land.
Can you feel it?
A tickle of time.
A hug from a friend.
A moment, sublime.
Will you touch it?
This city arrives.
Its myriad grains.
The textures of lives.
Will you hear it?
Eruptions of sound.
Mellifluous winds.
Acoustics abound.
It builds and exists.
This kingdom of senses.
Invoking, inviting.
Without judge or fence.
